
In 2011, Jack from Jack’s Instrument Services hired Datafox to help with his internet marketing strategy. We analysed his website and began teaching him the do’s and don’ts of internet marketing starting with basic SEO practises, and eventually leading up to traffic data analysis and brand awareness.
Web Strategy
Initially Sam did an audit of Jacks website and then put together a comprehensive web strategy in the form of an education program. The strategy included intensive use of Facebook and Twitter combined with overhauls of the website and content and other search engine optimization techniques to gain better search engine rankings and therefore traffic. The next key step was to enable Jack to continue the optimization and expansion on his own.
Traffic Data Analysis
One key area for Jack was being able to understand where he gets traffic from, why, and then how to best convert that traffic into leads. Sam worked to both setup the necessary analytics tools and to teach Jack how to find the information he needs and then how to act upon it. At the request of Jack Sam works with Jack once per month to review and discuss the future activities.
